As much as I’d love to call educated white liberals “the ruling class” — that would require them to actually hold enough power to thump around. Often times those white liberals are just really really noisy and annoying sounding.

As per those ghost towns their big issue was: only one major business or factory in the town.

I’m from the prairies in Alberta. Most small towns either are just a local community hall for farmers, Rezes or are similar to these midwest towns with one exception. They get really nervous if there is less than three major businesses employing people at the town itself.

If the number ever drops down to two — panick sets in, and they start trying to figure out how they are going to handle the town collapsing.

Those small towns put all their eggs into one basket — and there is something about how that is a bad thing. Dunno if I remember it, or anything.

Turns out a lot of those old cliches have some reason behind them. I mean… I for one enjoy the notion of building a five lane express way to Perdition. The materials it uses feel really good to work with — and it makes it much easier to go to that place that Perdition is located on the outskirts of — turns out it is a Suburb for a much larger city. Explains how picture-esque Perdition stands to be.

And if the noises of the vessel are annoying you — maybe put something inside it so that it isn’t as empty.
