I cannot afford to get a Mac (it is a Status Symbol Product anyways — like owning a BMW)… and I have no clue how to use Windows as I’ve not really used it since the 1990s…

The metaphor is probably more apt as:

• Linux is the inner city coloured kids of the school, whose parents don’t have money because the American Dream hasn’t visited them yet
• Microsoft is the average joe suburbia kids.
• Macintosh are the kids from the fancy ass rich neighbourhoods

So yeah... I mean, as much as I want to shout “nerds” at people on Windows… doing so from a Linux is probably not going to get me anywhere. And… as much as I want to talk about how much more “street smart” Linux is compared to Mac and Windows… it is probably because Mac and Windows don’t really need to be.

I don’t have a similar one for phones… but iOS are probably just Rolexes or something… with Android and Windows being the stuff you can get at Zellers (er.. Sears? er… shoot, my age is showing). With Blackberry being the Steampunk pocket watches (90spunk? Apathypunk? Ironicpunk?) and WebOS/Flipphones being the dollar store brand calculators.

Freaking nerds on windows.
