It is a common mistake people make to confuse luck with wisdom.

Some people have good luck and some people have bad luck. That is why charity is a thing that should be done.

For those who say “you make your luck” I respond: how do I make enough luck to win the lottery every week? Just go in, buy a winning lottery every week until it is redundant from my ability to live off the interest.

The usual response I get is a “that is not what I am talking about” or “that is not how it works” — to which I explain for them to elaborate — but I just get informed I am causing problems, and my horrid attitude is why I don’t get anywhere.

Luck and Wisdom are not the same thing. Yet… it is hard to really determine the two from one another.
