The “don’t be mean” is often linked to the notion that you can “ease people into new mindsets”

You know that stupid think people in the closet do where they think the ideal way is to ease their way out of the closet — so as to not shock people too much?

Yeah — that always back fires in weird and wonderful new ways that I hate seeing everything I see somebody come out.

This is why I tell the homos to just come out in full. Don’t fucking ease out. They will just assume the first small amount you came out is everything (and refuse to accept anything beyond that)… and the ones who have problems will freak out over the “just little thing” you did.

With the whole “ease racists out of racism” — it appears to be much more of the same. It won’t get them to stop. It is just a waste of time — and another brick to that five lane express way to help with our daily commute to and from Perdition.
